Rev. Dr. Roland Joseph
Advisor
Rev. Dr. Roland Joseph was born in Buisson, Port-Salut, a town in the south of Haiti, the 3rd child of Robert and Nathalie Joseph.
Reverend Roland started his ministerial legacy at the prime age of 16 where he was pastor and president of the youth group in his church until the age of 24.
Reverend Roland migrated to the USA in 1967 and continued to serve in different spiritual roles fervently in his home church in Brooklyn, NY until 1980. With the initiative of Pastor Rodrich St. Juste, Theophile Church in Christ had started. During that period, Pastor Roland met and wedded the love of his life, Yanick Samuel, they have four children.
In the spring of 1980, he was led to move to Georgia with his family.
Pastor Roland quickly saw the need for a Haitian church in Atlanta, he worked arduously and zealously to implant Haitian Ministry Theophile Church in Christ. This was the first Haitian church in the state of Georgia and rapidly became the home for thousands of Haitians along the years, where love was felt, cultured was celebrated and is still standing strong today.
Pastor Roland served as the Head Pastor from 1980 to 2011. Then, as President of an established organization, HMTCC, INC. in 1994 as more churches in other states joined with Atlanta and a few more were implanted. He served multiple terms until 2011. He became the Chairman of organization’s Board of Directors for a few years and now has retired. He currently serves as an Advisor on the Board of Directors of HMTCC.
More than four decades years later, Pastor Roland, not only impacted the lives of people in Atlanta and other cities, where HMTCC is growing namely McDonough, GA, Miami, FL Bradenton, FL Nashville, TN, San Francisco, CA, and Philadelphia, PA. This organization has also started and funded several churches and schools in Haiti.
Dr. Roland Joseph continues to impact in the lives of so many by teaching and mentoring those who are led into ministry, he is a father to the fatherless and to those who are less fortunate. This revolutionary man has helped change the lives of countless people and we could not be any prouder of him.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst – (1 Timothy 1:15 NIV).
I, Jean Ludjert Vital have been a believer of Jesus-Christ for 42 years. I was born into Catholicism, and attended a catholic school called The Brothers of Sacred Heart, from elementary to High school. At the age of ten, I had already received the first 3 of 7 sacraments of Catholicism. However in 1975, thanks to the relentless work of the Holy Spirit, I was exposed to a personal evangelization lead by Pastor Victor Mésséjour of the Faith Baptist church. His weekly outdoor evangelism messages every Wednesday at the center of a four-way street near my house in Haiti raised a consciousness and awareness in me of being lost as an active sinner from birth. Three years later, in the summer of 1978, the Lord won my heart and saved me through Jesus Christ and his gospel.
It didn’t take long after my conversion that the Holy Spirit has made me understand that I had entered a spiritual battle, but He has also whispered to me that Heaven is on my side. Evidently, before I came to know Jesus, I did not feel as pressed by sin as I now did; it felt as though a volcano had erupted inside of me. However, glory to God, at the same time, He had given me a thirst for prayer and a hunger for his Word. I started reading the Bible and gospel tracts with great appetite while praying fervently. As God was walking with me and working on me, with me, and in me, I came to comprehend that His Living Word is my unmovable anchor against the inevitable storm of sin and its fate, and God himself is my Rock and my Salvation that I should always lean on.
As I journey to my celestial and eternal dwelling, God has joined me with one of his beautiful daughters, Medeline Louissaint and, through her, He has blessed me with two handsome sons, Christ Emmanuel and Philip Nathanel Vital and entrusted me with their upbringing.
Through my career as a Christian Brother and a bound servant of Jesus-Christ, I have attended several churches from Haiti to America and served in varied positions from Youth Vice-President to Sunday school teacher, from exhorter to Evangelist, and from worship leader to committee member. Currently serving as Lead Treasurer in the Board of Directors of Haitian Ministry Theophile Church of Christr (HMTCC). Serving is all about giving yourself and it is noble (Mat 20:27); giving is the emblem of love (John 3:16); and love is proven as an identification of Christ’s followers (John 13:35). Therefore, I am condemned to love and serve God’s Kingdom and his people with all the capacity, ability, energy, and resources my loving and eternal Father has gifted and equipped me with.
With love and humility, I esteem you all fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household and thank you for your fellowship and encouragement.
Your servant,
Jean L Vital
